Sports Director Jason Barr has won numerous awards for his enterprise sports reporting, including a regional Edward R. Murrow Award. His knowledge at KGUN 9 has garnered him national recognition.
Barr’s narrative rooted storytelling has earned KGUN 9 four regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. These are only a few awards of many that recognized the quality and impact of his sports reporting in the state and region.
Other than the Murrow Awards, Barr has been awarded two Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards for his sports reporting. These awards showcase his talent and commitment to sports journalism.
