There’s a lot of excitement and momentum behind MapleStory Universe (MSU), from Nexon, in part because it recently surpassed 800k NFTs minted. The public MSU Scroll NFT mint started on May 6th and immediately made waves. In fact, only in the first eight hours 100,000 NFTs were already minted and that number jumped to 300,000 within twelve hours! Public mint is currently set to end on May 12th.
MapleStory Universe is getting ready for the launch of its very first game, MapleStory N, on May 15. This launch comes on the heels of a completed, successful testnet phase, where 506,000 players engaged with the MSU testnet. The results of our player testnet showed a very high rate of engagement with players spending 76% of all circulating in-game tokens.
MapleStory N is Nexon’s first official release in the MapleStory Universe. It challenges players to complete physical exercises and engages them with special in-game items for Nexon’s PC MMORPG, MapleStory N. As the launch date approaches, approximately one in two players are consistently engaging with MapleStory N, highlighting the anticipation surrounding its release.
The MapleStory Universe has its own NFT mint, giving players the opportunity to acquire distinct digital assets. The current public mint of MSU Scroll NFTs has produced palpable buzz. As of this writing, more than 800,000 NFTs have been minted! This latest milestone highlights the mounting enthusiasm for gaming experiences powered by blockchain technology.
